The King of Books Tag!

Image
Hello, internet! Doing book tags is a thing in the BookTube community, but I don't have a YouTube channel dedicated to talking about bookish things. Good thing I have a blog, though! Tags are a pretty simple thing: you get asked questions and you answer them. No one tagged me because I'm awkward and no one knows me and no one really reads this blog, but if you do I thank you! You could be doing important things right now, like going outside or reading a book. Literally anything else. But you're here, so thanks! Alright I've been talking too long let's get started! TINY UPDATE: I went online to get the questions, but it turns out that the name of the tag is actually 'The Ruler of Books' but I already made the thumbnail and I'm too lazy to make another one, so for us it's going to be The King of Books. I mean, what did you expect, it's me. And anyone can be a King if they want, so yeah. The rules: You're the King of books (

The Loose Ends List by Carrie Firestone Book Review

Image
Hello, internet! Recently (as in, five minutes ago) I finished The Loose Ends List by Carrie Firestone. I discovered this book while looking through the book reviews of a very trusted reviewer on Goodreads, and I immediately fell in love with the cover. It's beautiful, and I absolutely loved the synopsis. I give this book five stars. It's a book that will stick with me forever. It taught me so much about life and love, and I extremely recommend it. The Loose Ends List follows the summer of Maddie O'Neill, who's initial plans of shopping, partying, and tying up high schools loose ends take a huge turn when she finds out that her grandmother has a terminal illness. In the grand, dramatic, Astrid North-O'Neill (Maddie's gram) way, Maddie's family is sent on a 'death with dignity' cruise, so her grandmother can leave the world in her own unusual way. Along the way, Maddie meets people who fill her life with new experiences, and learns so much about

The Burn for Burn Trilogy by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian Book Review

This review contains spoilers for the Burn for Burn Trilogy: Read at your own risk Hello, internet! I'm going to start off by saying this: if you have not read the Burn for Burn trilogy, go read it now! It's is very very good, and even though the ending of the third book frigging sucks, it's still worth your time. I give it 4 3/4 stars. The Burn for Burn trilogy focuses on three girls: Kat, Lillia, and Mary, who are all looking for one thing. Revenge. The plot is what initially drew me into this book. Well, that and the cover. It's about getting revenge on the people who have wronged you, and it just so cliche. And you know how I'm all about those cliches. The first book is about their initial plans for revenge, but at the end, things don't go so well. I love the characters so much. Kat is definitly my favorite. She is just so kick butt, and I love that about her. The authors made Lillia a rich girl, and I love the fact that she isn't the wea
